Turkish Cuisine has a wide range of tastes such as olive oil dishes, kebabs, dishes with meat, pastry, soups, salads, desserts types and such kind of foods.
The basis of Aegean Cuisine, which has a food culture inherited increasingly from generation to generation, is formed by olive and olive oil and with its delicious grass types, Aegean Cuisine is also defined as “Green Cuisine”. As well as grasses and olive oil dishes, different kinds of pastry such as lokma tatlısı - sweet dumplings, höşmerim - a sweet made of unsalted cheese, arabaşı - a kind of spicy chicken soup, keşkek - a dish of mutton or chicken and coursely ground wheat, kıymalı bulgurlu yaprak sarma - minced stuffed grape leaves with bulgur, güveç - casserole, çömlek eti - kebab en cocotte, patlıcan böreği - pastry with eggplant, soğan böreği - pastry with onion and yahniler - stews, dishes made by bulgur, tarhana - soup with dried yoghurt and dessert types are also outstanding dish types of Aegean Cuisine.
Four valuable commemorative blocks and a first day cover prepared by using the visuals of “Çökertme Kebabı - Sliced Steak Served on a Bed of Finger Fried Potatoes”, “Black-Eyed Pea”, “Sinkonta” and “Şevket-i Bostan”,which are among the most delicious tastes of Aegean Cuisine, were put into circulation by PTT on 17.08.2015.

Through its women’s football development programmes, International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) aims to increase participation of women and girls in football, spark excitement for women’s football, create the best opportunities for women’s football to thrive and ensure that football continues to be the number-one female team sport.
Since 2011, FIFA has increase the scope of their programmes and put more emphasis on the importance of growing women’s football around the world.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup™, showcases the highest level of women’s football with the best countries in the world competing for the title of World Champion. The tournament is held every four years, with Canada set to host this year’s event in six designated Host Cities - Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal and Moncton. In this seventh edition of the tournament, that was first held in 1991 in China, 24 national teams will compete between 6 June and 5 July 2015.
To celebrate this tournament, four valuable commemorative stamps and a first day cover with “FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015TM” theme will be released on 06.06.2015 by PTT to provide specific support toward developing and increasing the participation of women and girls in football.

The 5th June is announced as World Environment Day with the rule taken during the Environment Conference organized by United Nations in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm in 1972. In order to emphasize the importance given to the environment and increase the sensitiveness of the public, it has been given place to the subject of World Environment Day each year with a different aspect in the stamp emission programme. This year the mushrooms subject, one of the important part of ecosystem, has been processed.
The importance of thee mushrooms, partaking in the creatures world as different kingdom, is too much for the nature and the people. With the number of hundred thousand kinds, the mushrooms make contribution to recycling by separating the waste organic matter to building stones. The mushrooms have many important benefits such as to be used as nutritive value but also deviating the drug raw material from matter that are existed in their structures. However, the mushrooms are not only the beneficial creatures. As there are harmful species of mushrooms in terms of economic and health, there are also some harmful species having lethal effect for human life.
A first day cover and a commemorative block with the subject of “World Environment Day (Mushrooms)”, on which the visuals of the Auricularia auricula-judae, Coprinopsis picacea, Morchella deliciosa, Mucidula mucida mushrooms are situated, have been put into circulation by PTT on 05th June 2015.
